Arab wedding convoy attacked in Urfa Turkey

Turkish citizens attack an Arab wedding convoy in the city of Urfa, in southeastern Turkey.
Turkish media reported that the convoy of cars, bearing flags with Arabic words, disturbed the residents of the area with the sounds of horns and Arab songs.
Right groups are warning of rising anti-Arab and anti-Syrian sentiment in Turkey.

I spent a lot of time in Turkey. No country can afford 13 million immigrants. While there is an inconvenience caused by this, the incidents involving immigrants and most importantly being a clear party in Turkey's domestic political issues are not enough, the Turks are also seriously disturbed by their threats. And I must say that Erdogan, who allows this, will eventually go. (I don't know why Erdogan is doing this to his country). After he leaves, the Turks will send everyone back to their countries. In fact, my observation is that if the immigrants do not get involved in political issues, no one says anything to them. For example, there are close to 2 million African immigrants in the country and no one says anything to them. My observation is that it is very easy to be friends with Turks. But you will never get into an argument with the Turks on topics such as football and politics 🙂

Not to defend Turks and current sentiments and actions and just statung some observations: Turkey has taken in millions of refugees from Syria and Afghanistan mainly as well as other nations in North Africa. Turkey itself has not been doing well economically and financially for decades. It has taken in these refugees at a huge burden on it's back. Shortly after the earth quakes hit Turkey, what did many of these refugees (large majority being Syrians) do? Instead of helping in some way or at the very least staying the hell out of the way, they began stealing, looting and in some cases held up aid vehicles with use of guns. Should the Turks feel betrayed and having been slapped in the face? I know I would. These sentiments and actions are just consequences. Should every Arab or Middle eastern be judged and put in the same basket of Ungrateful Wrong doers? Of course not. But people are frustrated on many levels and now they have found an outlet which is unfortunate.
