10-year-old Sumaya from Gaza tries to cope with the loss of her arm in an Israeli air strike

“The day I was injured, my brother promised to take me horse riding, but I didn’t go. I was injured, and I lost my arm.”
Ten-year-old Palestinian girl Sumaya Abu Ghliba has returned to her hobby of riding horses, despite losing her arm in April when Israeli air strikes targeted her family’s and her uncle’s houses in Gaza.
Sumaya has expressed desire to leave Gaza, in order to get a prosthetic arm abroad.
