My first job was in the Whessoe yard I think it was when I left school in 85 (teaboy). Then I was in and out of work in the yards till the early 90s (painter/shotblster) great memories. Most of my mates worked there too, scaffolders, painters etc.

Great footage of what now has largely gone especially the large overhead crane and swing bridge. Have to say it looks a lot more tidy down that way now.
