Wow brother, all I could say is wow! you’re very blessed with the very skillful talent that you make look so easy, and you’re one of the most calmest drummers I’ve seen, what would top this off is if you’re very humble, and you give God the glory for all your talent! Great job brother can’t wait to see more visits. I enjoy your Drumming very much.🙌😊🥁🎸🥁

Thanks much for the very kind words. I thank God every day that I am able to play my drums, as there have been times in my life when I was unable to do so. Drumming has been my life-long passion and it has even served on more than one occasion as my physical therapy! It is always interesting to me to hear the different opinions on the calm appearance I have while drumming. Most are positive, while some are negative - people are certainly entitled to their opinions, so it doesn't bother me either way. I'm glad to hear yours is a positive view of this. I started this YT channel (I don't make a dime, as I use copywritten material in nearly all my videos) over 15 years ago in dedication to a HS drumline buddy of mine that suffered from brain tumors and could no longer drum. His journey ended far too soon a few years ago. I told him I would drum on his behalf for as long as I am able to do so. He was one of the most positive, energetic people I've ever known, and this channel is dedicated to him. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy!

Super fast sticks! I love that the analog drums are still out in full! (nothing against your e-drums of course.) I appreciate these songs so much more just seeing the percussion work that goes into a song. I'm inspired to pull my vinyl on this to listen soon!!! 😄
@jon32523 күн бұрын
@@jmartinid Thanks bro! Neil came up with so many creative parts. So many little variations, I never get them all, but the feel he would create for the songs was so good! I had never realized until one of my viewers pointed out, this song hardly has any toms in it. I think I never realized it since it doesn’t sound like anything’s missing. He was so good at knowing exactly what the songs needed. I gain even more appreciation for his mastery every time I attempt to play his stuff.

@jon32520 күн бұрын
Thanks! My kit is a 7-piece Sonor SQ1 in Satin Gold Metallic finish. Evans EC2 frosted on top of toms (8, 10, 12, 14, 16), stock Remos on bottom and on 20" kick and snare (14 x 6.5). Cymbals are mostly Zildjian A Custom with New Beat X-hat and 18" Wuhan china. I often use my 20" Sabian Paragon ride as well, such as in the Rush Animate video I just posted. Mics and other gear listed in my channel description. Enjoy!
