Love the banners on Arthur's infantry! Where are they from...or are they home made?
@MogsymakesАй бұрын
Thank you! All home made.

Nice to see a warrior named Kai (presumably inspired by the last of the Brunnen-G?) Suppose his key trait is Assassin…

Really enjoyed playing a few times at Lard days. So ordered a copy straight away. What make is the Arthur model please?
@MogsymakesАй бұрын
Thank you! He’s an old Gripping Beast Arthur model - don’t know if he’s still available.

Thanks for the video. Looking forward to seeing how it plays. Why does the army star with 9 tokens?
@MogsymakesАй бұрын
Each Force starts with a set number of Reputation tokens depending on the total Reputation of the troops. There’s a table in the book to calculate this.

How does the system account for war machines like catapults or scorpions? Or, dare I say, cannons and mortars? Do they go in the same base size?
@MogsymakesАй бұрын
There is a Monstrosity category for artillery pieces, usually single model Units. They are based on the same width as Units, so 12 cm if using the standard 28mm sizes. I will add, though, that artillery are not the focus of the game, and somewhat unheroic in nature, so they’re not battle-winners. Think more of Wars of the Roses with a couple of primitive cannon at the side of the main action rather than a Napoleonic battery.
@BrasidasGamerАй бұрын
what are the mechanics for turning like? How do I maneuver Units?
@MogsymakesАй бұрын
You’ll need to wait for the battle reports and the rules to see it in action, but essentially, formed units only move at half speed if attempting to turn or move backwards, meaning that they are much more effective when ploughing straight forwards. Skirmishers and Light Riders are a lot more mobile, as you’d expect. There is a Change Facing movement but it is not automatic and has to be the first and only movement that a Unit carries out, so it’s not possible to turn around and charge, for example.

Does the actual number of models in the unit matter, or is it the unit frontage that is more important?
@NickMeredithАй бұрын
In the previous video the phrase "about 12 figures" was used and emphasis was put on units having the same frontage. Also, given that figures have clearly been mounted on frontage sized bases with no capability to remove individual figures I am reading it as that there will be no tracking of individual figure but instead the addition of unit level statuses, probably with markers, that carry the status of the unit from event to event. Mind you I could be wrong!
@toofatlardiesАй бұрын
@@Tigerstyleification No, they don’t matter at all. It’s purely aesthetic.
