6:45 how are you getting each separately and then both? did you adjust something? I am trying to figure out how to change volume of an external keyboard and can't find this info anywhere.

By default, sliders one and two control the volumes of the sounds in parts one and two.

Hi Thank you for your walk-through. It’s just what I needed and I’ve got my external sound module working on my modx. The only problem I have is that when I change performances on the modX I still get the external Sound module triggering. Can you please explain how I isolate the external sound module so that it only plays on the selected patch on the modx?

When triggering an external sound module, use MIDI channels 9-16. (If you use any of the first 8 channels, the external sound may end up playing when you switch to another performance that has anything at all in those parts.)

On my laptop..if I load multiple channels/sounds/plugins… is the process the same? Will I be able to input multiple midi channels into the MODX?

I have the 76-key versions, but it works the same on the 61 and 88 versions.

@@vitakrek9463 It's terrible for pianos. It's okay for other stuff. I always use the Fantom-07 in conjunction with another board that I use for pianos/EPs.
