Love the simplicity of explanation - It's a really an in depth explanation that serves as introduction to commands in Mid Journey.

So happy to hear! For me, it also serves as a nice little cheat sheet to remember all those commands!
@UnSortedGirl Жыл бұрын
Love your videos! Regarding STOP parameter - I find it very useful when working on art (painterly styles) to stop at 98%, before the final very harsh sharpening is applied. Also, I've heard that when attempting to render Text or Letters, there's a method of stopping (30-50%), upscaling the most accurately rendered shape, then using that upscale as a guide/reference image for a repeat prompt.

@mephistopolice Жыл бұрын
Great video, again! I'd love to see a video guide to some best practices for parameter combinations. Things that show off your knowledge of how midjourney works, ie. knowing that the style is gonna be extreme, so adding "--style raw --no color --ar 2:1" when you are generating something you want to look like a noir film still.
@TheoreticallyMedia Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I'll give that idea a spin at some point! I might integrate it into a revision to the Cinematic Prompt Formula I did awhile back (like v.4! Can't believe it has been that long!)-- but I'll say, part of what I love doing is just giving you all the tools and seeing how you mash them all together! I'm endlessly amazed at everyone's creativity, and I never want to stifle that with a "this is the way you should do it" approach. I know that's not what you meant, but that's a line I'm constantly juggling. That said, your Noir idea sounds like a great example to showcase how the dashes can achieve a specific look! I'll put it on the list for next month!

Excellent to hear! I’ll be getting back to MJ videos soon, but they’ve been kind of quiet lately. I think we’re on the cusp of a whole slew of new features though!
@CreativePunk5555 Жыл бұрын
Amazing overview, great job! I find myself falling in a spiral with so many options that work with each other. haha. The one thing that annoys me sometimes is when I create environments or landscapes I get quite a bit of artifacts. I tried the 'no' command with artifacts but that was wishful thinking. haha. I also should note these landscapes are in anime, cartoon or comic styles. Have you found a secret method to get more clean renders without artifacts?
@TheoreticallyMedia Жыл бұрын
Have you tired Niji for that? I was going to dive into that to see if I could break it for sort of non-anime looks, or see what happens when you really experiment around with it. I haven't (and I think many MJ users) haven't really dug in there, and I'm sure it's a gold mine of interesting stuff. I'll dig into some artifact removal ideas as well!
@CreativePunk5555 Жыл бұрын
@@TheoreticallyMedia Yeah, I use Niji 5 quite a bit for some things but for some cartoon renders, niji doesn't really work. From a distance the environments and landscapes aren't that bad - but when you start looking closer there's artifacts everywhere, even with niji sometimes. But I always end up editing anything and everything I get from MJ - so I just spend a lot of time fixing stuff. But with those weird artifacts, I end up just redrawing from scratch. haha. The new Beta features in PS does help a ton. I get excited with every update, knowing they are improving the small things.

is there any way to get no background? I've not found anything that works WELL for that
@TheoreticallyMedia Жыл бұрын
For me, that kind of starts at the prompt level. I'll generally try to prompt something like: "Photo of a Man in a Blue Business suit, white background, studio lighting" That generally seems to indicate to MJ that I want a photo against a white backdrop, which I can then edit in Photoshop. There's also the "Green Screen" method, which I detail in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnaXmJ54f7mHg80
