Pure country at its finest! Soundin like a classic already.

Quick story. My grandmother. A woman from Puerto Rico was a die hard country fan up until it became country with pop. The last country song she listened to was "Drinkin problem" by Midland. She told me "That's good country." Midland is on my playlist till this day. Descansa en paz Abuela. Te amo por siempre.

Just discovered Midland. I’m a self confessed music snob. Modern country has never really appealed to me. But this band is just so so good. And what a voice! The harmonies are infectious. The songwriting is impeccable. Even in its commercial form I find it undeniable and truly authentic, especially the “On the Rocks” album. It hits just right.

I don't listen to country radio (for obvious reasons, yuck) so I'm always surprised when big-to-me artists like Midland, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers and Jason Isbell aren't well known. They're amazing and have a seemingly huge following just not to "Nashville"

@@LoveBaseballLove Nashville is only promoting corporate record companies at the moment since “Bro Country” is what is only currently popular in their stations currently. But I’ll be happy to choose Midland over Morgan Wallace or Kane Brown and those country artists that have made country turn into pop music.

Let's Everybody Sing She was acting distant A little bit cold when we talked on the phone So I drove all night, but that West Texas sunrise lead me home I stepped into the kitchen That's when I saw the note she wrote, that said "Adios Cowboy" and "hope you take care of yourself" She left her ring by the wine glass And not much of anything else No red dress to come back and get No, "I'll call you, when I get to my friend's" No, make it all up 'til you kiss That's as goodbye, as it gets She said, "Adios, Cowboy" Guess you could say, I made a few mistakes Hell, more than a little 'Cause a woman like you, could use more than some part-time in my head That's why you left me with "Adios Cowboy, hope you take care of yourself" She left her ring by the wine glass And not much of anything else No red dress to come back and get No, "I'll call you, when I get to my friend's" No, make it all up 'til you kiss That's as goodbye, as it gets Oh, whoa She said, "Adios Cowboy" Whoa Used to mean something so different When I'd hit the road and she'd say "Adios Cowboy" and "hope you take care of yourself" She left her ring by the wine glass And not much of anything else No red dress to come back and get No, "I'll call you, when I get to my friend's" No, make it all up 'til you kiss That's as goodbye, as it gets She said, "Adios Cowboy" "Adios Cowboy" She said, "Adios Cowboy"
