I wish more weather radios would let you adjust the siren level so that you can have it by your bedside.

Thank you. I wish every how-to on you- tube would be this thorough.

Your video is far superior to the written instructions that come with the unit.

Thank you very much for making this informative programing video on this Midland weather radio. Going to go order this one now. My old Midland finally bit the dust (it was almost 20 years old!) Great video!

@@EyestotheSky I got it, I do not have the dang button beep option? Strange?? Maybe because I got the 120DSP?

I don't want to hear it at all. If i buy the strobe attachments will it disable sound? I just want lights to tell me to read the screen.

I think whatever built in alarm option you have the radio set to will still activate if you have a strobe plugged in. I don't think there's a way to only send the signal to an external device, unfortunately.

Midland says NOT to use rechargeable batteries - FYI…

Excellent point! Thanks for mentioning that.

WR-120 does not "charge" rechargeable batteries. You can use rechargeable AA batteries or Alkaline.

What is the difference between this and the older WR100 radio?

Does this automatically turn off after a certain amount of time after an alert is indicated?
@EyestotheSky Жыл бұрын
Yes it does. While in voice alert mode, I believe it takes about 4 minutes to turn off after receiving an alert.
