Dad got tired of the Winnipeg winters, so he packed up mom and all 6 of us kids and moved to Chicago in 1967. Just in time for Chicago's worst snow storm in modern times, the "Blizzard of '67". Guess Dad never heard of Miami or San Diego. Thanks for showing me around my hometown Josh.

Just recently found your channel about a month or so ago. Excellent video quality and an actually informative and cool video every time. Im a warehouse picker or however you refer to it, at a Trash Bag manufacturing plant in Pittsburg, Kansas called Pitt Plastics. Been here for 10 years, since the day I graduated high school. I've always had a great deal of respect for you truckers and watching videos such of these have made me more mindful of how I load trucks, how fast I pick my orders so they can get on your trailer, and to just be nicer than I already am. You guys put up with a lot of crap daily, so if I can do my job well it makes your jobs just slightly easier. We like to keep our load times down to about 15 to minutes because all we're loading is at max 30 pallets. The quicker we can get ya in and out, the quicker you get on down the road. you pull a variety of loads, Josh. i once pulled vans, but felt they were too light, so i ended up pulling reefers. even though most were noisey, i learned that within the 30 minute reefer cycle i could hit dead sleep and a noisey reefer couldn't wake me up

We have round two of the Tennessee snow “storms” today. January 6th. Supposed to get like 7 inches again and they actually gave us a winter storm warning. Temperatures are supposed to drop to like 13 F by the morning. Im happy, I got off of school AND work today for it. In ND we’d have recess in blizzards on Minot Air Force base but I’m not complaining.

I'm laid off right now. During COVID-19 I was laid off for a few months. This channel gets me my big rig fix while I'm off the road. Really don't miss the winter. Used to drive during the night.
