Some fun fact, the payouts for club races also are dependent on player progress, so if the club races were done in San Diego, they pay between 1.7-2k, while after US Champs, they are like 13-22k. The luxury, and muscle prizes won't help in career, and is harder with level 1 parts on D Class cars, like the DUB Chrysler 300C and Chevy Bel Air.
