Just a quick video on showing you where the codes for your car go in the hex editor as other tutorials seem to forget to explain exactly where they go, I realize this game is old but still fun to mod.

Those of you little naabs who say this don't work need to watch this 10 times over and over. I tried to wheel size on my s600 and worked. But it prolly will take me a time to actually find the right size I need. I put on 10, so my wheels were pretty small, the second time I put on 32 two and now my car has no rims at all and it goes mad slow lol. Atleast I know where to mod wheels. Thanks.

@jerryhowell9 Make sure you are writing over the code that is already there, not adding to. Also, some modifications the game can't handle. Hopefully you backed up your save as I made very clear in the video. For all the people that did not, do not act like an idiot when you corrupt your save file and have no back up copy. HxD automatically saves a backup as .bak so if you want to use that change the file extension.

@MsJustRob Usually a corrupted game save is for one of three reasons: 1. You forgot to rehash a resign 2. You entered values outside parameters (I would say most likely) 3. You added to the hex code instead of overwriting If you're trying multiple mods at once, slow down and try one at a time. It would benefit you greatly.

When I copy my PS3 save on a flash drive theres no MC4 save just a folder called BLUS30190MC4_SAV when I open it theres 4 files ICON0, PARAM, PARAM, and RAGE no MC4 save

Just in case your still wondering it's 7 hex from the right on the speed line or in the "09" column, just put D4 and your be good there.

@mrfallen007 yeah, it probably has something to do with overflow which outputs a gross negative number, try holding L+R+A then let go of R and A, that should make you go forward

Will you tell us how to mod different rims on different cars. I want the stock rims on the Riviera on different cars. But the game won't let you put the Riviera rims on any car unless u mod.

everyone u can also use modio 3.0 to extract your file to your desk top and then u can drag it from your desktop to hex editor

@MsJustRob Good thing you made a backup of your game save... I'm 100.00001% sure I mentioned this (and stressed it) in the video. I hope this has taught you a lesson in hex editing. I wasn't telling you to back it up for the hell of it.

@MrRifle101 I'm just assuming this bit, but I'd say that rage.sav came from Bethesda's RAGE, you're looking in the wrong content folder. The Title ID for mcla is 545407F8 so look for a folder with the same name and that's where you'll find your save.

Does the speed mod only work for the belaire? cuz i tried it on my lambo and it has to shift at like 500RPM and has a top speed of 120.. lol

Hold both LT and RT then release RT I believe. This will make you move forward instantly at 999MPH.

Is it possible to change the rim width and make it poke out more? I lowered the car but the rims are tucking up in the fenders and i'd like to have them stick out more. I tried "tire width" but that just made the tires extended towards the center of the car. (A yes or no that the code area exists is fine if that's all you would like to share).

You must have put it in the wrong spot or didn't get the file written to your flash drive. Even if you have screwed the hex up, it should at least tell you that the file is corrupt. Make sure to make back ups. Make two.
