As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine extends into its third year, the geopolitical landscape remains fraught with uncertainty and tension. We hosted the Honorable John Sullivan, former U.S. ambassador to Russia, and David M. Satterfield, director of the Baker Institute, for an in-depth conversation about the ongoing conflict and insights from Sullivan's memoir, “Midnight in Moscow” (Hachette Audio, 2024). This event provided an exclusive, behind-the-scenes perspective on this most turbulent period. Together, the two examined the deterioration of U.S.-Russia relations, assess the current trajectory, and consider the measures necessary to confront the challenges posed by Moscow.
