I am from the states and every time I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes you Australians are so cool and when I think what we did to our indigenous people and thought it was just a okay. I feel shame! The song has great music but even more intense meaning. Thanks for giving me a bit of the Australian experience.

HaydoZ I thought the same, hearing that comment of Peter's just now, watching this. I saw them live for the first time earlier this month, in Furuvik (Sweden). They blew me away!!

This has become a classic song. Wish I could have heard it live. Unlike a lot of today's music...the dancing isn't more important than the music...and the band is actually performing. And 'live' singing too. Unbelievable artistry behind this song. Thanks to the members of Midnight Oil for this.

Maybe not the best singer in the world, but he really makes the best of his voice. And man, what a performer he is!! On top of that he just seems like such a nice guy. Fantastic song - greetings from Denmark.

Garrett can't sing for shit. If you iisten to their early stuff late 1970s you can hear that he is trying to sing. But later he just yells his social brainwashing crap. We got it the first time mate.

...SONG OF THE DAY!!!
