Agreed Familyman is grossly underrated as a Bass player. His students most importantly Robbie Shakespeare have gotten all the praise. I think it has to do with his lack of literacy and how he could have marketed himself as a world-renowned session man. Marley created a brand as a launch pad, from which Fams could conquer the world, but it was not to be. He got stuck being a tribute musician to Marley Music (which by right, the sound he created)

Honestly, this is my favorite album. What came afterwards was cool in its own way...But this album is beyond religion, beyond love, war, good and evil. The lyrics to this album are just poetry...the most interesting mix between rock and reggae ever made.
