Just a note on the engines. That particular variant of the SAL series is only unlockable if you resolve the quest on Neon with Walter where you break into Slayton peacefully. Otherwise you wont find them

I built something similar to this and it's about half the size. If you are building a role specific ship, like this sort of is, you can drop all that cargo and habs, and whatever you don't "need" for the role the ship is going to play. My Micro Class-C is a cockpit, 1600 shield, Companionway with loading and docker attached, engines, 6 of those wicked guns, 3 EM cannons. I can power everything to full, with 4 points left over. This thing is so darn maneuverable it's crazy and it has top game speed. I built this at lvl 48 and was taking on 3 lvl 72 ships at the same time (on "normal" settings for those big fights due to the level difference) and winning every time. I was able to farm in Serpentis all the way to 60+ really fast and with the EM guns I can pirate any good vessels I come across easy. The guns take down all shields very fast, then switch to EM, board, take over the ship, switch back to my Spitfire, rinse and repeat until I have 6 or so top tier ships, sell them, and keep going.

yea, builds like that are always fun. I do try and make what I think of as an "all around vanilla ship." Trying to keep in mind that unlike ship crazy people like you and me. who likely sit and debate which ship I have to deconstruct for my next build. Other people are looking for that all-in-1 live aboard ship that does what they're looking for. At least that's my goal. Don't always do it. but i try.

I believe maneuvering thrust applies to lateral thrusters. Using them properly will allow you to drift and avoid enemy gunfire all together. Very helpful against multiple targets, just drift around the blob and pick them off.

It does. But I can say with experience it also effects the sharper degree in which you can turn at higher speeds as well. The lower it is, you have to practically come to a stop to turn around within a reasonable distance. making some ship encounters feel like you and the other guy are just flying in a stupid circle forever.

Just a note your shield takes 12 power which is max.

@@thegamersgrimm3228 your ship looks awesome. Another thing in case you don't know is that the auto cannons have a charge. So adding a second set of guns like the pb series would give you even more firepower and they don't need to have full power as they will basically a full mag thena slow reload
