I bought a 1985 RE in 2015, from a old man who didn't take much care of it. It was almost dead. And since, it was my first bike. I literally learned how to ride a bike on this old machine. I cannot ride new bikes because I'm still not used to it. Sir, this video made me believe in the fact that this piece of machine can take you anywhere. Yes I also have old bullet you can take your bike for long trip but it should be fully serviced and in good condition and new tyres with tool kit for emergency

55-60 kmph

50 to 60 kmph The key is to start gradually by going at lower speeds(40 to 55) for a few kms. Once the engine opens up, you can increase gradually upto 60. Can go even a bit more than 60 but that's the sweet spot.
