I went to see Nosferatu last night and loved it. Sold out theater. Tom is right. Not everyone will enjoy or appreciate the film. I loved the new design of Count Orlock. The theater shook when he spoke. Definitely see this in the theater for the sound and the look. Not sure where I'd put this compared to the 1922 and 1979 versions but worth seeing.

couldn’t get past Orloks mustache

Well, the original Nosferatu was ripped off from Dracula, and I think Bram Stoker described Drac as having a mustache, so at least there's a sort of Lucasian poetry to it ;-)

The Haunting was not Victorian Era, Tom. The original is set in the 1960s, the barfo-matic Jan DeBont remake was set in the 90s. The house in the story itself was built in the 1870s, but no, each version is "contemporary".

One of the newer (but popular) riffcomedy crews similar to MST3K *already* tore Madame Web a new one back in late November, Tom. Not as fab as classic MST3K or the non-millennial Rifftrax, but still pretty tight. They have over 1.3 million subscribers.

@@togefree6989 I'll try to answer this again, since apparently "somebody" ghosted the reply. I suspect some hair dye of the blue variety might be involved. Anyway, I'll try again, but I'll alter the reply so the "algo-rhythm "(yes I altered the spelling on purpose), won't be able to cybernetically complain. Type "Mr", then add a space, then type "Sunday", then a space, then type "movies", and see what yooble-tooble provides.

Verbal riot has said this before I had some kind of Ponzi scheme is guys must know at the top producers should know the obvious I'm 47 I have no experience except from watching movies and I can tell right away that these things are bad and they put them out then I'll put movies out so I don't know what's going on. There's some more of this that we're going to find out later. Things are terrible I mean DEI is not good for anybody actors of us want real good scrips real good acting I just they're making money somehow I don't know legally probably through some loophole because the stuff is terrible it is terrible it's so bad that I'm not even a producer a professional but real producer's can't see this ahead of time, I couldn't tell anyone to watch this because it's awful so they're doing it on purpose you know used to be a time great to movie's, but wow 🤩 it's bad and they're wasting all this money are you just don't know if it's DEI or something else. Hopefully someday that everything will come out because some shows are good and then the same people disappear or whatever and then the show is bad house of the Dragon went downhill it's unbelievable

As I think that they need to fire these people, I can't understand how Bob Iger can get in trouble by firing the Dei hires. I don't understand and other people do it to HBO does it but not as much, but you can't fire them really and hire peoples talent, and tell him to make scripts based on things that people want to watch. They've brought in people make metalis Terry metalis and Terry it's not his fault if he's made some recently bad because when they're on supervised on by the top brass they'll all fail but of course they had a producer tell them and then they put their stamp on it , so its no longer the Control of that person, a brought in !!!!!

I miss Rob though. Other than RMB, he was one of those diehard trek fans who could reference episodes by name. I recall him describing STD to a stunned Mr H who never saw it. One of ME’s greatest moments. He was working on a historical retrospective on G.I. Joe before his dismissal. I bet it would have been great.
