I would have stopped dead in my tracks if I was walking around and randomly saw Midori shredding somewhere. I can't even imagine how amazed I'd be. Some of those people were so lucky to be able to watch that and some people literally had no idea what they missed.

But they do, they fit amazingly as personalities and musicians, maybe _because_ of their differences, they complement each other, and the results of their creativity and vibe are _amazing_ .

Awesome day. Her and Miyako are just incredible, in my favorite guitarists of all time. Midori and Miyako bring me to tears with their playing at times. Love them. They both bring something special to the band. Miyako so stoic, melodic. Midori more flashy, aggressive. But I love Midori power metal stance and banging. We sat on floor in front of her, about twelve feet away, behind a row sitting in front of her pedal board. And more wrapped to her right, where this was taken from. I didn’t know her then yet. But Buddy and his wife had tickets to Namm. I was into Maids then, he brought us here, so I could check out a guitarist from another japanese band, heh.

The crowd that really were there to see Midori were just to my right and behind me. Just off camera. She was given lots of love from crowd. Btw sound police shut down her demo for being too loud. Now that sucked

Must have been the Kemper stand . Midori is known for her affinity for Kemper units that can reproduce any effects pedal known to exist. The bystanders are very lucky people to enjoy the queen shredder at work

1/2 of the Queens of Shred. Midori is absolutely terrific, hold her own against anyone. The two of them together is just magical and a F clinic of guitar playing perfection. The shit they pull off and how they play off each other is the BEST I (me) have ever seen, and I have seen Maiden and Priest live so I have seen 1st hand what Murray / Smith and Downing / Tipton can do. Maiden doesn't do anything too crazy fast and Priest...Painkiller is off the chain, speed-wise. Oh btw, Lovebites covered Painkiller and F killed it. 😉🐺🦊

@@abby3734 Abby, I think you missed my point. In my opinion her guitar is a bit out of tune. That's all I said. I'm a big fan of Lovebites and I think it's currently the best female metal band in the world. If Midori took her own guitar to NAMM, then could be different moisture levels affecting to guitar woods and tuning - don't know or she played some given guitar and all guitar's behave differently. And new strings always pulls our strings, no matter how much you stretch them :) Nevertheless, she plays brilliantly! :)
