Don't you love it when the most Powerful Duelist in the GX Manga only loses due to outside duel Shenanigans? Keep in mind; Even Koyo admits he couldn't beat her sister, and it's not hard to see why. I always loved Darklords because when they pop off? They felt oppressive, in control, dominant, and this duel right here has always been 1 of my favorite duels.

She's really strong, beat her with just 5 cards (+1 discarded) Did you know she could've won? If she used darklord desire's effect only once, sending only venus to the graveyard, she could prevent the fake trap (angelic compassion) from being activated, there was no need to activate it twice.

@@NaBYGOTbf? She trusted her words: Both on what was her facedown and the information she would've provided. She lost the mental warfarebur was the winner in the duel cause she would've won otherwise.

@@thehoennguardians4286 Yeah I know, but she still could've won. Reggie's trap needed 2 fairy monsters on the field, Midori could've used Desire's effect only once and attack to win.

Dude, does anyone else hate the "Character is in the position to win but has to lose because of out-of-duel threats" BS? Yugi vs Kaiba, Kaiba vs Noah, this duel right here, Lightning vs Revolver, and probably at least one or two more I can't think of right now. Yugi vs Kaiba is the only one I like because it's not "I'm using a hostage because I'm evil", it's "I'm willing to sacrifice my life to save my brother".

@@supremeking1730 it’s so ridiculous, sadly plot needs to advance, but the villain could be stronger, but oh well

My two favorite characters going at it. Fairies is my favorite yugioh type.

Midori is yet another victim of Yugioh treating its female characters like trash. She is supposedly as good, if not better than her brother. Who is the world champ. Yet has not a single on-page win. And her not having any redemption for her failure is yet another reason why the second half of the GX Manga is so awful.
@NaBYGO9 ай бұрын
Yeah I read about her as well, she did defeat reggie pretty easily, but couldn’t attack because she thought she would lose her brother.

@@NaBYGO I mean yes, she could've won, but she doesn't. And since that's her only duel in the franchise, her ratio remains negative.

I would disagree with them treating their females like trash, If your gonna compare the female roster stop picking the odd ones out and look at them all collectively because: Fun fact:1) Besides Yami Yugi(Manga) the only other duelist to not lose a single duel in the entire franchise is 'Tea Gardner'3-0 2) Mia Valentine made it to the Semi Finals in both Duelist Kindom and Battle city 3)Alexis Rhodes was in Obelisk blue along side her friends with was the best tiered duelist inthe school

@@dawarror 1.) She only had a few off-screen duels against Katsuya in the Manga, who was very much a noob at that point. Win/Loss isn't nearly as important as the strength of the opponent's she faced. Mai let her win and the Penguin filler dude wasn't very strong either. 2.) Mai has better treatment then most other female characters up until the end of Battle City, because Kazuki Takahashi wrote those parts. Even then, she is still far behind her male peers in skill. 3.) So what? GX goes out of its way to make a point about how useless the Blue Dorm is. It is not entirely based on skill, but also on the education received in Middle School. Asuka (Alexis) is again, also not anywhere near her pees in skill. I don't have to cherry pick, because up until Arc-V there wasn't a single female anime duelist on par with the male trio. Except arguably Sherry? Their only purpose is love interest or damsel. What does Asuka contribute to the plot past season 2? Rei is hyped in the Opening and at the end of season 2, but doesn't have a single full on-screen duel by herself. Aki get's a license to job on her only riding duel and becomes a benchwarmer for 40 episodes. Carly disappears after Jack's confession. There is the dumb cult explanation (which from what we know wasn't revealed until the final stretch 5D's), but just because they didn't want to use the Arcadia plot doesn't justify them not writing something else as a replacement for Aki. Sherry disappears for almost 20 episodes twice after her introduction and ends up having complete character assassination. I almost forgot to mention Ruka, because I forgot she even existed. Rio has to be saved by her bro. The other girls are part of the I LOVE YUMA squad and do nothing else really. All the Arc-V Girls get kidnapped, or brainwashed. Ray is strong, but she is more of a plot device than a character. I can't for the life of me think of a female character that was handled properly and with respect.
