How do you make this big of a tournament in 2k? And how do you make sure you can jump in every game without simulating everything else

I put the created roster into a MyLeague setup, and turn off all roster moves, injuries, trades etc. Then I simulate until the game I want to play, sim/watch that game, then back out of the MyLeague, load back in and find the next game, so on and so forth. Hope that makes sense! lol
