Now that I can see this in motion, this really does show off how beautiful even a simplistic-looking game that MM2 could have been had Angel Studios continued to develop it instead of working on MC:SR at the same time and delegating it to lesser devs. Masterful work, and a happy 20 years to one of the unsung racing heroes of 2000. May it live strong for another 20 more.

I remember playing this with my brother and sister on our Windows XP ALL the time. It’ll never happen, but if it were to have re-released, I would love to play it again. We lost our CD somewhere in a ton of boxes during a move.

One of the best racing games on pc, never gets old for me. And the amount of add ons is insane, but I only add vehicles that fit the graphical style of this game. I discovered recently how to change the vehicles for the ai opponents in the races, now it's got massive replayability because of it!

I'm pretty late to this, but that was beautiful! The camerawork was on point, and the madness was captured perfectly during the car chases. Especially the part with the cop driving down Lombard Street, lol Here's to another 20 more years of this amazing game and community!

I loved this game in its heyday and I loved it when in a high speed race with the police chasing you and then they crashed into a building or AI traffic. It was a great game in its day. I may have to buy this game again to relive some happy times.

The only problem that I'm struggling with is trying to install mm2hook onto this ripped version of the game rather than the iso version. I'm hoping there is a repack with mm2hook already installed to save me the trouble. Going to try to revisit this sooner or later.

I played this game in 2009 when I was 4. The coolest mode in this game is the cruise mode. I'm still playin' this game, cuz it's super cool. Hi i downloaded the mm2hook and placed everything in the directory, but im still getting heap errors and nothing i change in the config file seems to have any effect. how can i know that the mm2hook is running? Edit: I have also tried multiple different settings but nothing works. Simple bugfixes like the chat music aren't working, so I'm pretty sure it isn't working. thanks

Did you download mm2hook_dll.zip? It's also recommended to delete the current gfxconfig and then start the game - MM2Hook's console will then popup.

@@RacingFreak hey, I put the dlls in and then the console popped up, but it said my version of mm2 was unsupported. However, I downloaded another copy of the game I had a while back and the mm2hook seems to be working on this one! Will be testing it out

Thanks! The different London is actually my port of the city from MCSR. And the subway at the end is a little glimpse at the restoration of New York's subway network! :)

Yep! The SFPD one is created by me based on the NYPD Police car from Midnight Club, while the London ones are converted with only a few small modifications :)
