Is beautiful how these math rock homemade riff's sometimes sound better than well produced bands. That's what I like the most in this genre. The open tunings like FACGCE enables the criativity at max in every guitarrist. Well done m8s.

Really appreciate the comment! Open tunings are great, but I would say that it’s more so the allowance and openness to that kind of “weirdness” within the Math Rock community that puts out so many amazing bands. We love and encourage odd, outside of the box ideas in this genre, which is what I’d say makes Math Rock one of the coolest genres of music ever.

Allow me to explain 7 months ago I was engaged to be married to who I thought was my soulmate needless to say she turned out to be somebody completely different the only reason I mention that is because I used to sit there when we first started dating for the first few months I'd sit there every night at the side of my bed and play for her and I can just remember the look on her face that heart eyes emoji look😍🥰🥰 there was a feeling of you could tell there was something there I have no idea what happened to her and why she went dark on me. I tuned my low E down to C and my A down to a G. It makes a shape fairly similar to an open G, so the top 5 strings are like an open G6, so a little like a banjo. Either way, I could hear that, it’s pretty folky sounding.
