Hey man, I'm a long time street rider who got into adventure riding about 2 years ago with a 1290 SAR. A few weeks back I got a 350 exc-f. Currently going through the process of opening up the muffler, removing reeds etc. About to have to buy an ecu. Man you spend 15k on a bike then gotta spend 2k on folding mirrors, clutch protection, rotor guards, wrap around handguards, skid plate, indicators on the forks, wheel weights, tidy tails, ecu. Not cool. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I wanted to ask what protection you use. I recently got some mx boots instead of my adv ones, knee and shin guards. I still need some upper body protection. I was about to buy this fox titan jacket that had most of the gear except a neck brace thing but figured I need to spend a bit longer figuring out what I need. What do you use?

Hey man. No worries. I don’t use much protection as it’s too heavy. I just wear boots, knee guards and a helmet. That’s it. If you’re new to the sport you should get some body armour but a neck brace is mainly for motocross.
