Finally, an officer that warns them then takes immediate action when they don't comply. He needs to be complimented.
@mjc1970Ай бұрын
I've watched several of these videos, and it seems like a majority of them involve an overwhelming amount of police officers pleading with individuals who are causing disturbances. The process often drags on so long that you start to wonder why it's necessary when they're the law. This cautious approach likely stems from the aftermath of the George Floyd incident, where officers are now overly careful to avoid escalation. But in this case, this cop gave one clear warning-and then, bam! Handcuffs, in the car, and the situation was under control. The cop was clearly shaken, but he handled it efficiently. Kudos to him for being straightforward and follow-up on his promises. He did his job well!
@jamesy29Ай бұрын
Yep!
@fVNzOАй бұрын
@@mjc1970 I mean it's probably because the vast majority of people have some semblance of intelligence and don't live in a reality distortion field. And when a cop threatens you to stop the tomfoolery - i bet most people understand that. It also shows that all of these cops do their utmost to avoid escalation because frankly it's a waste of time for society, waste of time to do paper work, etc. etc. Implicates the criminals family and so on. So cops "pleading" for someone to get their shit together is probably the right thing to do. I think it's nice to see someone immediately take action but it's not always so clear cut that you should or shouldn't do it. This was a direct threat. Most of the time people are just trying to allude, scream, act erratically to drag out their own arrest. Just my two cents.

@johnbize5736Ай бұрын
"Freedom of speech" in this country is *very* broad. It includes all political speech and even insults. Some speech, though not criminal, can open one up to civil litigation. This POS called the cop "boy" in an obviously racist slur. But even that is perfectly legal. It's up to us to call him out on that and I hope everyone sees what a racist POS he is. However, I'm pretty sure most, if not all, states prohibit "Criminal Threats" and "Incitement." This was a good arrest and I hope he's maximally prosecuted.
