Ah you're playing the uncensored version, I never saw these enemies. I guess they looked too much like children, In Europe they look like goblins

10:19 you commented on that in your RE1 playthrough. first vid I ever saw of yours, it made me sad then... but here you are playing silent hill 1, the height of old school imo. Deepest appreciations from the fan base of these classics! still hoping old school RE (3 especially) will come up one day, but their are plenty more awesome IPs to explore in the mean time.

5:00 in. not far yet. wanted to say: Do keep spinning theories, that one you were on to something. wont say what and not on to it enough to count this as a spoiler. warnings on the not as symbolic as SH2 were to keep you from over theorizing something that would have been cooler than this game was ready for. lol. already happy to see your theories already start catching more traction closer to what the game wants you to pick up on. Do keep comparing to silent hill 2, the comparison is part of your experience coming from SH2 first. We only wanted your theorizing to be more in realistic expectations; which is exactly what has happened already in the first 5 minutes! :) don't try to not do something in your playthrough, just play it and enjoy it your way! We are here for it 100%

simpler explanation, now that your not looking for the particular depths that silent hill 2 had you will be more likely to find the different kind of depth 1 had. We still love your theorizing and comparisons! this game is a lot more meatier on actual storytelling.

47:04 justified spoiler. you had it. you just overlooked bird colors. that was a fair look up. thats easily the most difficult puzzles in game. you only had pelican crow reversed.

when this came out i was living halfway across the country from my brother, and he sent me a PS1 and this game, told me to play it in the dark while we were on the phone so he could hear my reactions. this was definitely the creepiest game around at the time, and the school is still one of the eeriest, scariest environments. i'm pretty sure he had to help me with the piano puzzle. also: little ghost babies ftw.

Well, it is not universal opinion about SH2. Remake made it better, but some people dislike depression/melancholic vibes, and actually prefer SH1. Of course, after playing modern remake, of SH2 old SH1 will feel inferior.

Remake didnt do it better only tourist say that, they are completely different games to play. Remake is an Action shooter with horror elements
