Thanks for posting! We just ordered ours yesterday, so it is great to see it working in the "wild". Do you use the Miele cleaning discs, or regular pods? Sadly, we will be handwashing for two-three weeks waiting for install. Can't wait!

How wet was the plasticware on the middle shelf? Thats what I was hoping to see. Trying to decide between this or a Bosch with zeolite and I hate wet dishes

Hey. Were you comparing top model with some a bit cheaper Miele like 71xx or 52xx? There are so many models 🤯 no idea how to choose

I compared my 7566 to the other 7000 series models (7366 and 7966). I really wanted the different wash cycles, which lead me to the 7566 over 7366. I didn’t go with the 7966 for a few reasons. 1) More expensive (obviously), you do get a 5 year warranty but I was less worried about the warranty because of Miele’s reputation for quality and because I’m going to treat this dishwasher like my 3rd child. 2) While the knock-2-open feature is super cool I just imagined by 4 year old and his younger brother constantly knocking on it for laughs at potentially inopportune times. Thus a model without that feature (7566) was actually preferable to us.

The sensor wash setting is probably the longest but that is also a high estimate, if the dishes aren’t that dirty or the load is on the smaller side it will finish early. Additionally, there is an express option that is more intense and finishes in about an hour
