Denise when you held up that clay mask scrubbed clean to the last drop, I bout fell out 😂😂 After a whole jar, it’s no reason your hair shouldn’t have been poppin. There’s clay masks out here that’s SO BOMB (Soultanicals, Chocolate Kurls) and would’ve had you right after just 2 oz. And to be honest, this review shined some light on the Hawaiian ginger line too, cause that gel must’ve evaporated into the air. 👀👀👀 They can’t say you didn’t use the products right either...

My hair is low density so I should have a few chances using the clay. I'll use the hair milk for its rice water properties. The only Mielle product I have used is the Overnight conditioner. I'll be trying the Honey and Pomegranate collection and their DCs soon. 🥰

Thanks for an honest review! How is it possible for a product laden with oils to detoxify your hair? I'm not going to go in on the uselessness of clay for the hair, but the clay in the masque is so far down the list of ingredients - the last 3-4, again useless, probably a pinch of kaolin and a pinch of illite. Rice water is protein and not all hair needs protein on a regular basis (especially low porosity hair) BUT because there is barely any of that in it either, you are probably OK if you use it once or twice BUT if you use all of the products in the line, over time you will have increased your use of those ingredients. Mielle tried it using natural hair care buzzwords of "clay" and "rice water" for folks to go buy it up. And another thing since I'm ranting, if it only costs $5.00...trust there are not many high quality commercial products that cost $5, yes that include Wetline gel (plastics), and Ecostyler. I ain't mad at folks getting coin either but just be careful out there. I'm sure when a lot of the natural hair care businesses started it truly was in the interest of addressing the needs of a relatively ignored population, and with healthier products, but now it really seems like a money grab.

@@DeniseAdore No doubt you had a different result with Aztec, because that is ALL clay lol. This right here is not. It's a pretty color and in a pretty jar but imma pass. However, I must tell you the clay in the long run is not a good product for your hair. A good clarifying shampoo every 4-8 weeks depending on how much oil based products and other products you put in your hair will be do just fine, if not better. Just because a product initially gives you the look your were going for doesn't mean it is good for you or your hair. Anyway I LOVE your personality. I watched this video twice because of it. Mielle is sneaky AF cuz apparently after this grand $5 preview sale, which I was unaware of, guessing it didn't go too well and they dumped it on CurlBox. Do you drink a lot of water and take a daily multivitamin? Also try some protective styles for a while and still keep your hair moisturized while in the protective style.

Cause that is a detoxifying clay mask not a deep conditioner just like when you use the Aztec clay mask you have to use a deep conditioner after they are meant to cleanse and detox your hair.
