Mifo O5 True Wireless Earbuds

Finally I got my MIFO O5 STANDARD from UAE after waiting just 2 days. I'm so much satisfied with my product. Apart from the actual battery capacity of case, I got enough time to test all other features. I just loved the calling experience, audio quality? build quality, transparency feature (ambient noise through mic), single earbud usage (either R or L) and the massive 2,600 mAh battery case (yet to verify the capacity). The only thing I didn't like is the button. It's almost unusable as it really hurts / irritates my ear when pressing. I got to give support from the opposite direction of button pressing through backside of my ear lids not to hurt my ears. But I consider that as a cost and sacrifice for exclusive 2,600 mAh feature. In short, I just loved my MIFO O5 STANDARD and I'm so much satisfied.

Thank you for your review. I watch yours and 5 other guys who focus on True wireless earbuds. The tiny buttons on these was the only reason I hadn't gotten these buds. I hear great things about them, however.

Well on the Mifos 05 that I have do have a sound change from embient sound mode and reg sound mode ... you probably got a faulty pair 🤔

I agree with Miles Ace. When you switch from ambient to isolation mode the volume increases and sound quality improves (not because it’s simply louder).

You have to review the Monster clarity HD Airlinks true wireless earbuds you will be so amazed at the sound of these and the bass is thumpin with a dynamic soundstage. For the price these are the best earbuds out there. Please try and review, you won't be disappointed. Better then sabbats, 1mores, anything $100 and less these kill. I would even put them up to much more expensive earbuds.

Hi JDA. Brilliant video. I have the pro version of these and would like to add my thoughts. Firstly, I totally agree with you on the button layout - my thoughts exactly. If they were to have this layout design I would have thought having the forward skip/volume + on the front right bud would make more sense, and the back skip/volume - at the back of the left bud - or having the buttons located similarly on both like you mention. Odd design decision. But, with all do respect, I disagree on the audio quality. Like I said, I have the pro version which are supposedly more neutral with flatter bass than the regular version. I wasn’t to convinced about sound quality with these at first. You do need to get the fit right and with practice I found the sweet spot. I ended up using the largest ear tips for the best fit/seal. The ear tips are actually quite thin in thickness compared to others I’ve used, so using the large tips gave the best seal for me. (and who’s going to use those very tiny ones - mice?) Anyway, after roughly three hours of playing the same tracks by different artists to allow a bit of burn-in, they came alive. I’m not a huge believer of overly long burn-in times of drivers - a bit does makes sense. But it was like someone flipped a switch. Suddenly there was more bass, the high end became a bit warmer as a result but sill clear - this without touching the fit of the buds. These were close to reference quality. I had a chance to listen to the highly rated Cambridge Audio ones and the sound signature was very, very close. Also, they take EQ really well, and I mean REALLY well. So if more bass needed, they respond well to this and don’t sound bloated and muddled. Just my two pence (I’m another UK guy here, originally from USA). Cheers, mate!

Tried these myself and felt the same way.....case, features, and fit were awesome, and call quality...like your wife said was the best I've tried in an earbud, but sound quality was lacking brightness and low end bass

I have the Bokman 05 which are the same as the Mifo's. I like their build quality n comfort. You're right that there's no bass but with the eq on my player I dialled down the treble and they sound ok. Keep up the good work JDL. Still lovin' the vids and regularly tune in. These sound fantastic but it's definately going to take me a minute to figure out the functions. I'm def going to be hanging on a bunch of ppl. I wish it would get a little louder but then again they are the best sounding earbuds I've ever had.

@@NewStuffTV1 Maybe if the product would pair like it should I wouldn't need a video. Mifo O5 Plus in my opinion is a piece of garbage. I can't even say if they sound good or not since I can't use them. Their support is equally bad. No phone support or even chat. I could use email to communicate with them. After 4 or 5 exchanges with them, all they kept telling me in different ways what I already tried based on the video on their website or what was in the instructions that came with the ear buds. None of which worked. After repeated attempts to have them refund my money they finally told me what I needed to send them back. I did that and I still have no instructions.

This leads me to my next issue with these... you physically can not see the difference between the regular and pro version. I think there is a slight difference in color if the case, but it's hard to tell from the pictures online.
