Ahoj,, to je neskutočne krásny lietač 😉, bolo tu niekde v komentoch napísané, že Slovenské Migy-29 majú krásne kamufláže, to fakt súhlasím, priebehom ich histórie u nás, od rozdelenia republík, až po digitálne .. mal si teda krásny výber a vybral si super kus 😎 ..Nádherný povrch, s každým dotykom štetca to šlo vpred... No a takáto, verím náročná video tvorba tomu dáva zážitok aj pre nás nadšencov, kukačov ..... 😁

Very nice build! My kit did not had any cockpit detail decals and of course GWH ignored all my attempts to contact with them on this matter..., pricks! Oh well... As for the PE parts, try to heat them up, over lighter fire or something similar, and let them cool off naturally, don't blow on them or put in cold water. That way they will become softer and more plastic.

For unpainted PE parts that need to be bent, you should anneal them first with a torch. A small butane torch works great ( like the kind you'd use to light a cigar that gas stations sell for a few dollars ). You just heat the part evenly until it's slightly glowing reddish orange, and it takes all the stiffness out of it. You can then bend it like you would solder wire or a thick piece of paper. Btw, after watching the full video, gotta say that's a killer build. I've got the digital camo version of 29AS and GWH kit in my stash, just not ready to tackle that paint job yet.

Forgot to add it, but if you happen to have a gas flame stove top, that works well too. Just make sure you heat it fairly evenly, and be careful with super thin pieces ( like metal mesh for intakes ) until you've got comfortable with it. It makes forming weird curves and rolling circular shapes so much easier.

Your paint job is amazing! I have one question about the weathering process: You mentioned that it took you a week to complete the weathering, does this means that the chipping fluid you spayed onto the model can be activated the whole week?

Yes. Correct. 🙂 It takes time create so many chips. Doesnt matter if its a chipping product or hair spray. Both can be activadet with water.
