Power Ranger Mystic Force is actually great. It's one of my favorites seasons of Power Rangers. It possesses a compelling story full of twists and some great character development. Not just that, but it teaches the value of faith and hope to a great extent, not to mention how some villains are portraited in shades of grey instead of just being evil.

Dino Charge is one I consider a very underrated series. They unfortunately had to come after what many would consider the lowest of power rangers. Next to Jungle Fury the storyline of Dino charge is one of the best start to finish series in terms of character growth and journey.

@@ReactZoneLive yea, stupid mandates from Nickelodeon, and because of that; it caused us to be way off track with when Toei would make the next sentai season; matter of fact, that comes into play as after Super Megaforce, we didn't adapt Go-busters,the sentai that occured after SMF's source sentai, Gokaiger, and went right into adapting Kyroryuger for Dino Charge. Luckily we did go back and use Go-busters when ownership fell to Hasbro. And they COOKED that season in all the right spots; you'll see.

1) Lost Galaxy kinda concludes the "Zordon Arc," you could say. The first 7 seasons are all one interconnected story. While the cast is mostly brand new, health issues forced the Pink Ranger to retire from her role, and she was replaced by the former villain from In Space, Astronema (Karone), who would undergo a redemption story. The main premise of this season was a colony of people from Earth wanted to migrate and live on a different planet, but they're attacked by evil alien insects along the way. 2) The other Red and Blue Rangers you saw in Ninja Storm are called the Crimson and Navy Rangers. Originally their own unit being manipulated into serving the main villain, they would later join the team after learning the truth and coming to their senses. 3) Operation Overdrive is about a band of hired mercenaries who are tasked with finding the missing jewels of a powerful ancient crown before they can fall into evil hands. Initially only focused on the job they were hired to do, they eventually learn what it truly means to be a hero. A lot of people like to insult this season, but don't let that sway you from checking it out and making your own opinion. Personally, I liked it. The Red Ranger's story has a really good plot twist. 4) RPM takes place on an alternate Earth in which machines have conquered the world, and humanity's only safe haven is inside a dome. It is, in my opinion, the best season of Power Rangers ever made, and I definitely recommend giving it a watch. It is dark, and delightfully so. It pushed the boundaries of what the Power Rangers series is capable of. The characters would later discover the means to travel to the main Power Rangers universe and assist other Ranger teams, most notably Samurai, Ninja Steel, and Beast Morphers. 5) Disney had originally purchased the franchise from Saban in 2001, and in 2010, following RPM, Saban bought it back from Disney and moved it to Nickelodeon. From then on, each series lasted 2 seasons, beginning with Samurai (except for Dino Fury, which had Cosmic Fury as its 3rd season), although Beast Morphers and Dino/Cosmic Fury were made by Hasbro, who bought the franchise from Saban in 2018. 6) Spike is Skull's son, being looked after by his "Uncle Bulk". At the end of Super Samurai, Skull comes to pick up his son. 7) Megaforce and Super Megaforce were intended to be the big 20th anniversary celebration of the franchise, but that series fell so hard on its face that the Executive Producer was fired. The following series, Dino Charge, would prove to be immensely better. 8) The nature of the Dino Charge powers keeps the chosen heroes from aging, so you'll see a few Rangers who come from different time periods, most notably a caveman and a knight. 9) Yeah, the villain faction of the Ninja Steel Rangers is an alien game show. The "secret Red Ranger" you saw came to be that way because at the end of Season 1 of Ninja Steel, the Red Ranger powers got split into 3, and Mick, an ally of the Rangers, received one of the pieces. He would later become the Red Ninja Steel Ranger once more in Cosmic Fury. 10) The reason the Silver Beast Morphers Ranger doesn't get featured in the opening credits is because he's not portrayed by a visible human actor; he's a robot throughout the series. 11) Fern isn't a Ranger during Dino Fury; she's mainly the Green Ranger's love interest during that time. But in Cosmic Fury, she becomes the Orange Ranger. And Billy does act as a mentor, almost even like a father figure to the Rangers. Cosmic Fury gave him the proper closure he needed that Zeo didn't give him.

The titular "Lost Galaxy" comes into play later. 12:09 Ninja Storm is the first Power Rangers series to be filmed in New Zealand instead of the United States, where the franchise continued to be filmed until Cosmic Fury. 20:46 Starting with the Saban Era, they did Power Rangers in multiple season, with the second season having "Super" added to the title. This stopped with the Hasbro Era with Beast Morphers, though they kept the two seasons bit. 21:50 They actually started using CGI for the zords in Wild Force. 23:35 Megaforce is actulaly based on two Super Sentai series, Tensou Sentai Goseiger & Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. @@ReactZoneLive Lost Galaxy was based on Seijū Sentai Gingaman which takes place entirely on Earth with our heroes being commanders of elemental forces originating from a forest village, (hence why Maya was living in a forest with the Sabers,) their enemies are the notorious Space Pirates known as Barban/Balban who’ve been stuck on Earth for many years, basically all the villain generals transferred over to Power Rangers with some being transferred to the original villain faction created for Power Rangers, since they looked like insectoids, the first of whom being Sambash the hot-headed Biker Weapons Guy who became Villamax a comparatively patient martial arts instructor and generally honourable guy, (ironically Villamax is the last of the generals to be taken out, when he refuses to be complicit in turning their people into suicide bombers,) then we have the masterless samurai Budoh who becomes Treachron (these two are the most similar, though Budoh is definitely more honourable,) the other generals include Bucrates whose counterpart Kegler is tied to Villamax, Battobas who becomes Barbarax, and Iliess who becomes Hexuba work for Captain Mutiny, Trakeena and her father also get Dark Merchant Biznella or rather his PR counterpart Deviot, (his Sentai counterpart’s name is meant to be a pun in the original Japanese concerning the word "business" ビズネス Bizunesu.) Notably, the villain Impostra who frames Treachron by appearing in his form to the last of his warlords and then ordering the usage of The Lights to frame him was the daughter of Hexuba’s counterpart, and Medoumedou/Impostra was working on the orders of her great uncle Bucrates and her mother, and in-fact despite disappearing in Lost Galaxy, she didn’t get away with it in Gingaman because Budoh strikes her down, her sister MerudaMeruda renamed Maronda in LG, a Lamia-themed villain is instead paired with Deviot. You’ll enjoy Gingaman if you enjoyed the space and space-fantasy elements of Lost Galaxy.

Time Force is my favorite from what I can remember. The team composition and relationship between the Rangers are much different too if I recall correctly. I think it also had a more mature vibe as well aimed at preteens instead of children.

The acting from time force I believe was to attract older fans of power rangers the entire season just felt more mature than the other seasons and I liked it especially the Wes Jen Alex love triangle the four core members going back to the year 2001 from 3000 to capture ransik then run into Alex’s ancestor Wes was such a great twist especially in the first episode after what happens to Alex in the beginning

R.P.M. is worth the watch. It is the darkest tone series out of all of them. It is set in post apocalyptic world. Time Force - Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow rangers are from the future. They needed to go back in time to find the Red ranger so they unlock their morphers. Trip was an alien. Ninja Storm - The original three (Red, Blue, Yellow) were from a Wind Ninja Academy, the Crimson and Navy rangers were from the Lighting Ranger Academy, and Green one is a samurai.

I barely saw Power Rangers as a kid. For one thing, when the first series debuted, I wouldn't be born for another year. For another, my access to cable TV growing up was on and off, and I didn't even know what channel Power Rangers was on or if we even got it. But in my late teens, I saw a few Power Rangers series on Netflix, and I'd been interested in anything mystical since I was in 2nd grade, so I checked out Mystic Force and I found myself enjoying it. I find the franchise as a whole interesting, but I don't see myself committing to checking out every series.

There are three different generations of ranger power in Ninja Storm. The original three are from the Wind Ninja Academy. The second red and blue rangers you referred to are actually "maroon" and "navy" and are Thunder Rangers. The green ranger is a Samurai ranger. Their morphs reflect this in the show; the original three morph in a hurricane, the Thunder Rangers morph using the power of lightning, and the green ranger morphs in a Dojo.

The reason why newer rangers have such short openings is because they all aired in Netflix and when people binge watch you can just hit the skip button to the openings so no point in wasting time and money to make long openings.

Doggy Kruger from SPD looked more like a stuffed animal in the original Japanese version. When Saban bought power rangers back Nickelodeon said 22 episodes per season so Saban had to do to seasons for samurai-ninja steel. They had to add super to make it different seasons for Nickelodeon standards
