I haven't seen mighty mouse since the early '70s I like the storyline except one thing it had when the white sheep said to mighty mouse, he is white as you are. That's a little bit of a racial undertone. Other than that it was a good show and I hadn't seen ethanols

My sister and my brothers in Texas would be playing outside and my Mom would open the door and start yelling “Mighty Mouse” and we’d all come running to watch it. Great memories!

Mighty Mouse was my very first cartoon crush, lol. Also, these retro comic animated soap "operas" fueled an interest in classical music and song that led me to attending shows in Manhattan at Radio City Music Hall. Mighty Mouse and Bugs Bunny had a tremendous amount of cultural references that entertained and inspired me as a child, making me want to learn and experience the "real life" adult versions of such entertainment. But I never lost my love for the cartoons themselves. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THESE WONDERFUL BITS OF CHILDHOOD HISTORY.

Paul Terry's Terrytoons hero, a mouse version of Superman, was very popular in the 1940s and 1950s. I had one of the first cartoons made in the early 1940s, in original black & white, titled "Franken-Cat", in 16mm, in the 1960s. In this first color cartoon, made in the early 1950s, MM does battle with the villainous wolf Oil Can Harry.
