The differences between them are about their physical design and bore/stroke ratio rather than explicity displacement, though the big blocks are typically higher. But it is possible to have a small block with a greater displacement than a big block.

Amazing. I mean besides of the Turbo and the Intake etc.... How much did the Upgrade in generall cost...? Including Haltech and all the sensors erc...?
@acbent114 жыл бұрын
If you don't get an answer to your question, I did a *very* similar project a while ago. The 2ZR swap was about $2800.00 with all the bits and pieces and the turbo kit (with much, much cheaper e-management than the Haltech they used) about another $3000.00 with mods to fit the Yaris (it is a turbo kit for the Corolla). So, for the typical guy/gal who does all their own labour - as I did - about $6000.00 would be a reasonable estimate. There are lot of additional costs: tuning, custom exhaust work, gauges and on and on... I suppose if someone had a bunch of parts lying around, they might save some money. But, a person really has no idea how many extra parts and materials - and sometimes additional tools - are needed until they dive in. Here is my car and it was around $6000.00. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3mVeXaZg715aJo kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJatiXiqmL5jiLM kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHfZqKGjmJVsh8U

Hi! A tip: When you put in loweringsprings its a good idea to shorten the bumpstopps equaly mutch as the springs will lower, othervise you will run mutch on the bumpstopps instead of on the spring :-)

Unfortunately Mostert changed teams for this season and is no longer under the supercheap auto sponsorship, which is most likely how they got to work with him, so unless he wants to personally do it for fun it might no longer be possible
