Obviously neither of us "came down in the last shower" so I know you'll appreciate my advice to E.M.P. proof your system. My friend started going bald around 20. Came out to the pub one day and it looked that bad I had a quiet word telling him to just shave it off. He wouldn't talk to me for 2 weeks after that. What I really appreciate about the MCM merch is that I feel Marty and Moog actually put effort into picking out what products will banner the MCM logo and namesake. Everything I have gotten is high quality and never feel like it was a low dollar item that was up-charged after slapping an MCM logo on it. For instance, the MCM stubby cooler is my favorite one and have over 20 of them. It actually does a great job of keeping your beverage cold and it fits so well it feels like you are pulling a vacuum on it when removing the can. Great stuff and happy to support the show.

Marty & Moog are like a couple of mates that you just feel good being around.. except you know, they're not your actual mates haha but it's so awesome to get these peeks behind the YT "glamour". So many youtubers want to project an image but these two are essentially just regular blokes that never ever gave up on their dreams and just kept going. The back catalogue of accomplishments and skills really shows that. It's clear it wasn't easy and it's clear there's a massive amount of effort and grit behind it, nothing good ever happens without it. Moogs fitness doco quadrupled my respect for the man, and as someone of a similar age you just have to keep re-inventing, find what works for you. Look after yourself and your mates. Looking forward to decades more from these boys.

The original is called "Duck Tape" but since that is of the Duck brand (yes, Duck is a brand and I have the tape on my desk as I type this). However, since it is a registered name the other competitors started to call it "Duct Tape" with a t instead of a k. The Duck brand is from the german company... Kip Gmbh. Also kip means chicken in German and Dutch as you might know.
@wobblysauceАй бұрын
Ducts are one of the only things you shouldn't use it for.
@mycosysАй бұрын
Yeah, nah. Its made of cotton duck. British origin, first attested 1899
@LogiForce86Ай бұрын
@mycosys Sir, I stand corrected. That comment made me dive into a rabbithole. Kip Gmbh is a subsidiary of the American Shurtape Technologies LLC, which has been producing duct tape under the brand Duck Tape since 1980 whilst claiming to be "The Original Duct Tape". Duck from cotton duck is from Dutch origin and comes from katoen doek. As a Dutchman, I can say that doek is a word for cloth or canvas. In this case, it is meant as a cotton canvas as the fabric used is a flat weeve as of canvas. That said, it is basically a rubberized cotton cloth tape that repels water like the feathers of a duck. Oddly, even in the Netherlands, we say duck tape and not doek lint. British 1899 vintage it is, and it was invented by Johnson & Johnson as to be used for healthcare, a branch of the economy the company still operates in today. I think it is still sold as "Johnson & Johnson - First Aid Waterproof Tape" as it seems to have very similar properties.

Loved this video/format. One of the 38 circuit viewers here 👋. In life you can be into so many things, but there are a few core ones everyone should prioritize and don’t. In particular exercise is my point. I’m 31 atm and run a lot and feel great, I wouldn’t have it any other way. A lot of ppl my age or slightly younger feel like crap though bc they don’t move. My mom is 69 and I’ve put together a plan for her as well because of your point on preventing injury. Falling at her age is the number 1 way people get hurt and usually never recover from.

Thanks for coming to Tassie and signing my Daughter's doll! It's her favourite that she loves to hold while we watch these vids! Can't wait for you guys to come down again 💙

Excellent video guys, and once again thank you so much for coming down to Tasmania. It was such an amazing time that I for one, gained core memories from. That Gemini is turning out so damn amazing. Makes me want to get in a nice Triumph 2.5 PI. Not much simular at all but just reminds me of them for some reason. Maybe just the age? You'll have to do another track day down under (down under) once I do!

Very funny how they have thousands of dollars of editing equipment, yet have a 10$ chair that’s falling apart. Shows how true they are to their work.

This was a great update and gives us a deeper glimpse of you, the people of Mighty Car Mods. Cheers from CA!
