@@ImBarryScottCSS not many states require it, I don't recall many Canadian provinces requiring them. The technology is actually quite different, obd2 isn't required on bikes most aren't full closed loop. But bikes are usually way leaner running and the wet clutch systems mean that the engine works significantly less hard to spin the flywheel at cruising speeds.

Working on my KTM it's more like, remove the seats, take the tank fairing, side fairings, indicator fairings and engine bars off, then lock off the fuel hoses and wrestle the tank off with the extra pair of arms you've grown while removing everything else.

That's what's great about bikes though! They're cheap as sin, and even cheaper for modifying. They're also easy to modify, or at the very least, to wrap your head around what all needs done. Needing to replace, rewire, or customize? Everything can be scene at a glance, so it's easy to see how everything connects, which makes it much easier to know what needs to come off when the situation calls for it. Whatever you do though, do not skimp on safety gear. Quality motorbike safety gear can be pricey itself, to the point where too many people think of it as a necessary expense. But here's the thing, it only takes one crash for quality gear to prove it's worth. Be safe, be smart, have fun. Happy riding!

i modified a 1986 Bonneville T140 a few years back for my friend :) Modified the original frame to hardtail, Which was a task in itself, due to being OIF (Oil In Frame), But i managed to make it so that the hardtail tubing was also oil storage too :) Ended up with a Pin Striped Solo seat and Mid-Height Z bars and a short rear fender. Beautiful bobber project, and to this day, My friend still loves it :)

Joakim Jansson Aahhh no. The amount of stuff in a fridge doesn't alter the insulation and the heat transfer into it. When it's closed that's the only way it "loses cold". It's conceivable to imagine that there is less volume of cold air "lost" and replaced with room air when you open & close the door but there's also the increased surface area of items in the fridge that will convect heat to that air when the door is open.

I enjoyed the change, I recently cleared my driveway of projects. To concentrate on bikes as I just didn't have the room to do what I wanted with my cars. I have modified a VN 1500 Kawa which is my ride. I am currently working on a Honda 1100 shadow. Del Boy Garage is one of the best you tube channels for bike mods. Can't wait to see the New add.
