3:44 it is bit loud on high. 6:52 brought down couch area 5f and it isnt too loud like my AC. 8:54 this is a winner purchase, uses only a quart/hr. if i turn it up to medium or high i will be too cold. perfect for burning man camper/tent. 12:28 used in 100+ heatwave: kept me cool on couch. had it on 9 hours on sunny day, could only run it 5 hours on partially cloudy day. v: can you sleep with it on low? use decibel app 5ft in front of it to see if its under 30/40/50/60db.

Don't have that meter, but I am happy w/ these coolers. If you have enough batteries you can sleep with it on. Must fill all the way before you do. No need here, as it cools way down at night.

Yes it's really the only thing that will work on solar. Some are using ACs and bigger swamp coolers, but that is only on the perfect rare all sunny day. Great for a dog-if you see the link to their site they have a photo of a happy cool dog! As long as you are sitting in front of it you will be cool on the low setting.

Glad this helps! So far I have found this the lowest power and best guaranteed way to stay cool compared to other units, though now that I have to solar to run them, I keep testing the others.

@@primadonnagoingoffgrid4313 Wow, never thought about buying two!!! Maybe, buy the two hoses for the AC output and fasten one for each leg of your PJ's at the foot of the bed with one MighttyKOOL and another directed from the head of the bed on your head. Yeah two would be good!!!! I was happy to see so very little of my battery Yeti 400 power station was drained through the night. Just being able to cool my head, shoulders, face, neck, chest at the top of my head (van) helps me to breath fresh feeling moist air so I can sleep better than a hot stuffy dry musty living quarts. I would if I lived in a really hot area like Arizona Texas NMex, I would buy two. Especially if I could use solar panels, but still power consumption is low. It is quiet at the lower speeds, so i have it turned down to low speed. Higher speeds i would feel it through the floor of my van...i now am raised ~6" off the floor of the van. Maybe I might get to use it again during the hot days. Peace Out

@@easandov They do have hoses in the front. What I do is just move it closer to the bed and aim the vents 2 different directions. I have one unit in the bedroom and one in the main room to avoid lugging. I turn the unit when I am in the kitchen. I live in only 216 square feet so that works and no room for hoses.

Buy two and they sell hoses to direct the cool air on you where ever you direct the hose...So i suggested for a cool sleep in a hot room/vehicle, I only have one, but two with all the hoses would make it possible to cool up a pant leg and the top of the head without the two front hoses. U the outside air for less moisture in the air...

Did you determine how many hours one gallon of water would last? Like could you set it up for 8 hrs of sleep?
@primadonnagoingoffgrid43138 жыл бұрын
I have never had to have it on for 8 hours. The mfg. says it can last a whole night on low. I also usually fill about a half gallon at a time to avoid spillage and it seems to last the afternoon.

Out side air is better and you need to exhaust the moisture are.
@primadonnagoingoffgrid43135 жыл бұрын
Yes agreed! I always have a window cracked to get that. I love the way this works on humid days!

I do fill it with water. I just do not show it in video. Must keep it full and not let run dry!
