Losing the ECHR leaves the British people as well to all kinds of abuse by government and employers. We should be taking more in but because the incompetence of this government, the backlog of claims is what keeps people in hotels with no option but to live off of a pittance, since it’s illegal for asylum seekers to work until a claim has been approved & if the claim is denied (most are legally accepted but some are denied) then obviously that’s the moment & not a second before, that they can be regarded as “illegal immigrants”, hence they get sent packing back to their home country which in 99% of cases, WILL NOT BE TOO RWANDA

I'm beyond delighted that the Supreme Court has found the Rwanda deportation scheme to be unlawful. There are millions of refugees worldwide and millions more people on the verge of joining the growing desperate ranks of refugees in camps walking from one country to another. I know the influx in Europe is causing problems, but somehow the root causes must be addressed, sending people who have been tortured physically and mentally to Rwanda is and never will be the right way to help people
