Did you see the 18" and 24" numbers? I have Mars Hydro Bars in 3 of my tents and have friends with AC EVO's, these brands wish they could achieve those 24" readings, their putting out serious light. The one thing I'm not a huge fan of is the heavy blue in the spectrum, it does have plenty of far red though which is most important in flower stage.
@DJPrince3174 ай бұрын
@@stangcobra592 I plan to run it for my flower tent anyway. Based on the spectrum. Where it can be closer and take in all the reds it offers. I also run a mars hydro in my veg tent. Like I said before it serves a good price and purpose needs depending on the grower.

I'd like to see a led bar produced that compliments the spectrum of CMH. I'm thinking something like 2800k high red would boost the cmh significantly. Hi Shane, it’s a long shot but I don’t know where else to ask I’m the hopes of such an educated reply I am just wondering if you know anything around combining led with hps? As I have a 300w Mars hydro and I just want to boost that up without spending cash on a new led fixture as I already have a spare HPS (just for now until I can get a new high watt LED) So I guess my question is, would a 300w led being backed up by a hps work? Or would it cause unforeseen issues that I don’t know about it Any help or a response would be greatly appreciated, and Thankyou for what you do for the community

I'm vegging with the LED at the moments and the girls are praying every day so they are definitely happy, I just don't know if switching or combining lights would be beneficial? Is super flimsy and not very well made the first one I put together. I broke the boss on the driver that the thumb screw screws into. And what diodes are they using to get that price down. I don’t think they are Samsung. No advertisements on box or website. In my honest opinion they should bring back the other fixtures, but make it with a removable driver and a more fuller spectrum and they would’ve killed the game. And when they say custom diodes they mean “cheap”…. And the reason is Samsung fan boys are so about them is because they are the best. And I think that’s an American thing. Overall this light sucks compared to others of the same power draw

Don´t want to be a bummer but seriously @AllGrowLightMakers : you´re making indoor lights the replace the sun, what´s so hard to understand about 700mol delta between high- and low- peak is inacceptable? You´re making freaking indoor lamps, make the light EVEN for the area it´s ment to be used on, 100mol delta for low- high peaks is hwat we´re LOOKING FOR, FOR THE IDEAL GROW LIGHT! What´s so hard to get about that and why are manufactures still trying to charge top $ for poorly designed light solutions? At this point I´m thinking of making my own grow-light, I´m going to spent at least as much as for a same sized MarsHydro while having way better light quality, but I might end up spending SanLight money (not even talking all the labor work for building and maybe programming, but what´s to programm for a single tent setup. Making me wondering: what is daisy-chaining actually good for on lamps aimed at the end consumer? Why would commercial growers daisychain those lamps instead of getting way more powerful commercial lamps in the first place? One shoe doesn´t fit all you gotta decide if your lamp is made for kids (home growers), adults (criminal underground growers) or professionals who have all the space and money needed. DEI= death of a company because one shoe just doesn´t fit everyone! Why does the selfclaimed "crown of evolution" needs that much explaining and still doesn´t understand it?

You'll have half the light, half the heat and half the engergy usage. The question is what do you want to do with it and where do you plan to use it. Placing it in a tent is way different than an open room and it ties into the amount of plants you plan to grow with it. I run 400 watts in a 4x4 used for veg and it does well.
