For peeps who haven't seen the series yet and are curious after listening to this soundtrack..You need to watch it fast... I think all real music lovers will like this show, especially if you, even remotely like hip hop. Not only is the music in this show good it goes ahead to show almost all aspects of music production, along with a sort of coming of age story that has its own slots for romance thrills and everything else one would want from a show set in the 70s... Besides the show is really well made with very high production values (tying with game of thrones and some other show to have the most expensive budget per episode, close to 13 million US$) and not to mention the sheer raw energy on screen... all of the young talents have given their absolute best and its great to just forget everything and get caught up in this show....What caught my attention is that,`its so creative and bustling with so much soul.. Each character behaves like they would if such characters existed in such a timeline and its just so fluid the way everything blends together, the costumes, dialogues, situations, sets, props everything... Im a hardcore Breaking Bad fan and till date ive not been able to find one show that is so powerful and brilliant like Br Ba... but I think ive found the worthy contemporary...its not comparable by any means and not because it is as thrilling or powerful as Br Ba, but in the terms of quality and the overall energetic feel they've given to this show.. Such a brilliant and lively show :)
