For sure. Urkal was always a good, tough, skilled fighter. But he was a step below the best in his division his whole career. I liked him and enjoyed watching him when I lived in Germany. But Cotto is a Hall of Fame fighter. Too strong, well conditioned, too determined, defense too tight. Urkal just couldn't get anything going. He tried.

John Smith i know him personally he was not really a step below he was definitely one of the best he needed more punching power but he had the best technique of his division and was the most exciting fighter in this division ... like i said he just lacked punching power ... you can clearly see cotto here has not half the technique of urkal just relying on more punching power ... if urkal had punching power he would have koed him inside four rounds ...

Cotto defensively wasn't the greatest in this fight with Urkal landing quite a lot. But agree Urkal lacks power to be a real threat to the top guys in this division. He fought hard against Kostya Tszyu a year or two earlier but not in the same class as Tszyu..

Oktay Urkal n'avait pas le niveau pour affronter Miguel Cotto :-) Urkal boxe avec des coups de boules, des intérieurs de gants, des accrochages répétés et ce déjà dès le troisième roud. Urktal est inférieur à Miguel Cotto, heureusement que Urkal n'a pa gagné sur blessure, cela aurait été honteux pour la boxe. Orkay à construit sa propre défaite, il est le seul responsable et ne peut s'en prendre qu'a lui :-)
