Migz Zubiri turns emotional as he delivers farewell speech as Senate President

Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri delivers an emotional privilege speech on Monday, May 20, 2024, as he steps down as Senate President. He says the camp of President Bongbong Marcos is displeased because he allowed the Senate to conduct hearings on alleged leaked PDEA information supposedly tagging Marcos in illegal drug activity. Senator Francis 'Chiz' Escudero is replacing Zubiri.

Sen. Zubiri didn't do anything to protect our WPS. He was the only Senate president who could not accept his demise. Other senators in the past who resigned never showed such outburst despite resignation They took it like nothing is permanent. But, Zubiri was crying as if he would wish to cling to his position tightly Kakahiya.
