As someone who binged OP just to catch up quickly; I forgot most of hit because I was watching like 20 episodes per day, rewatching it with you guys will feel like watching it for the first time I'm sure. So yes, definitely take your time! Pacing gets terrible after/during a certain arc but that's in like 600 episodes so until then I'm excited!

Ive been waiting for you guys to watch this fight to say this: See how at one point, Mihawk stabbed Zoro in the Chest and Zoro didnt retreat, Mihawk noticed that and didnt pierce all the way through (Cause that would have been his heart pierced). So Zoro actually chose death over "losing" in that moment. I think that moment is pretty relevant to depict Zoros character, which is why it bothered me quite a bit, that in the Live Action, that little knife pierce wasnt on the side of his heart but rather a regular chest stab that wouldnt have been lethal. They really missed that detail in the LA :)

actually the live action did a good job adapting the anime and manga since they came first. I also like how Zoro was surprised by how much stronger Mihawk was. The live action version Zoro was just too cocky after Mihawk stopped his initial attack with the knife.

The anime definitely focuses this arc more on Sanji's conflict between the debt he feels he owes Zeff and his dream. In the anime Sanji actually witnesses Zoro fighting Mihawk and becomes infurriated that Zoro is ready to die for his dream. After all Sanji was able to give up on his dream of finding the all blue to help out Zeff. So why won't Zoro just do that?

Yeah, the LA may have gotten the flashback right when it comes to Zeff losing his leg, but completely erased Sanji's development in what should have been his arc, and made him mostly just a nice side character.

Watch at your own pace but I'd suggest watching 4 episodes at a time or adjust according to the story and make 2 or 4 episodes because then you'll be better immerse in the arc. For example, Zoro's fight with Mihawk and Luffy's fight with Don Kreig.

While Don Kreig is indeed scum, his voice actor voices one of my favourite anime characters in all of anime - youll get there eventually when you guys start Bleach. And you will lol cause the fandom is just so huge and your channel is just so good. Oh and yes, as many have pointed out, it's possible to get amazingly strong in this world through incredibly hard work, without having eaten a devil fruit. Anyway, this is the one I was looking forward to and it was an amazing reaction, thank you!

the "Don Krieg paradoxon" is a problem within OP lore, n' that is the reason he got cut short in the live action. basicly Don Krieg is way too weak and of way too low bounty for all the things he is supposed to have archived. And you might understand once you get more input about the geography of the world n how the grand line works. So when ever the Fandom gets new input about geography or powerscaling, people pull up Don Krieg yet again. :D
