after cutting is deburring not required with the milwaulkee cutting tool? just trying to add to my knowledge bank and have always been told to debur. great video and truly shows how even a simple install still takes time when doing it right.

Great tool! But you cut a lot of corners with your installation been there done that a lot of CODE IS OVER KILL IN SOME CASES! SHOULD ALWAYS TIGHTEN THE PACKING ON THAT MAIN VALVE AFTER YOU DISURB IT GOOD PRACTICE SO YOU DON’T GET A CALL BACK!

So what happens if that ball valve leaks in the press connection ? Can you release the joint and re-press ? That T&P overflow pipe - where does it drain to ? Onto floor ? Thank you
@billybob5954
@billybob5954 3 жыл бұрын
damn why would you cut the copper in half before bringing it inside lol. Also use a tape measure to get way more accurate first cuts. Your method results in having stubby pieces left over, what a waste. You could of gotten your exact length needed if you measured, not just eyeballing pieces

That press tool is awesome. In other videos the guys are reaming the inside and outside of the copper piping. Have you experienced the seal being compromised by the burr created from the Milwaukee tube cutter?

Question. Don't you still have to reem (or de-burr) the pipe after cutting ?when using the pro-press?? Also ..shouldn't the depth be marked with a sharpie prior to pressing the pipe?

Same for refrigerant circuit repairs/installs. Increases flow rate, decreases noise and decreases erosion. If the customer is paying for a premium job, give it to them. I don’t try to compete with low-ballers.
