I'm about as weird and mental as they come... I don't fit in anywhere. We have a convention of weirdos. Going to it is on my bucket list. It's called Burning Man. It's a huge camp out for the weirdest people on earth, for a week, in the desert. And they burn a wood statue representing normal society on the last day. I think that might be what the song refers to by "a world on fire". Anyways, nice to meet a fellow misfit. Also, I'm listening to this song on replay because it helps with my anxiety and I have a lot of it as I am not expecting good news from my psychiatrist...

Not sure why but every time I hear this song I make my own image in my head... Like when they say "people like us, we've got to stick together" I image a huge line of all kinds of teens holding hands and the camera is speeding by all the faces fast. And then at the part where she's sings "throw your fist in the air!" All of the teens through their right arm up in a fist pump. Last one, she sings "everybody loses it" I have the sad image of a little girl (blond for some reason :P) crying in her hands and at then at "everything will be ok!!!" The girls big brother picks her up and walks onward... I image crazy things like that the WHOLE DANG SONG! And I have no idea why...

I agree with you on that, and to be honest, that's how I try to enjoy life. with my imagination. Not always a good thing though if you know what I mean. sometimes my imagination thinks of some pretty scary things.

I am not sure if I understand what you mean with "pretty scary things". I am also a person of vivid imagination, and it has served me well when I've had difficult times - to live a better life, to enjoy myself more. Sometimes I've imagined scary things, for sure; but they haven't been able to really impress me in a negative way. What's been your case? Is there something that I don't get? Child of the Magi well sometimes my imagination thinks of a situation and thinks of the worst thing that could happen in it, and then I spend all my time trying to avoid that situation, which really puts me off other things that I might need to do. But other than that, my imagination serves me greatly, It's just those times that really annoy me.
