I love Mijas Pueblo. I lived there from 1970 to 1977 when I moved back to Canada. I must say you missed all the most beautiful parts of the Village. You showed new but none of the old parts with the Heritage buildings. Those were some of the most precious years of my life. From your video, it is hardly recognizable from how the Village was when I left. I walked those streets so many times to my little boutique selling all hand-made local artisan items. It is still very beautiful, but very different than it used to be. I see the little Chapel inside the Grotto was closed. I was a bridesmaid for my friend who got married inside there. Magical days, those were!.... It was not so geared to the tourists then and really, it was much more beautiful than it is now.

I've visited this lovely village twice before when I was on holiday in the very nice Hotel situated there. The residential part was further up the hill, not shown, as is a very nice little Chapel with bubbling springs all the way up to it. The views are amazing. THE most beautiful place I've ever seen. Hoping to move there very soon. 😀

Whilst Ibiza will remain as my number 1 holiday destination, Mijas looks absolutely beautiful and very similar might I add. You have cured my fear about visiting here. Thanks for the tour!

Such a beautiful village with some stunning views. Had the opportunity to visit just as the UK was going into lockdown. Great to see the place starting to pick up and thrive again. ❤

Is it Mijas-on-the-Motorway? How does one walk to la playa?

Poor donkeys and horses suffering in that extreme heat. There are motorcycles, cars, buses and bicycles and walking no need to make animals suffer. #Bandonkeyrides #banhorsecarriages @Peta @WWF @MercyforAnimals
