Since I played everything live from different sequencers (ASR-10, TR-909, TB-303, etc.), it all sounds very different than the original recordings.

Klasse Live-Act - und das zu dieser Zeit - ja, ist wirklich essentiell, der Mijk. Und die Superstition-Spirale auf dem Ärmel! zu geil!!! Hat die jetzt der Verfassungsschutz verboten oder warum ist sie nicht mehr das Label-Logo von Superstition? Weiß da jemand was näheres?

Das Long Sleeve war kein offizielles Superstition-Produkt. Ich hatte das kurz zuvor als Bootleg in einem austalischen Platten laden gefunden.

Über das Logo wurde immer schon viel diskutiert. Ich empfand es als sehr ästehtisch, aber die Ähnlichkeit mit einer Swastika zumindest sehr unglücklich. Superstition hat dann sozusagen als Disclaimer auf die Oberseite der Plattencover eine Zeit lang geschrieben: "Another Anti-Fascist Product of Germany from Superstition Records Hamburg" . Später wurde das Logo und Cover-Artwork durch Weissraum Design aus Hamburg neu und futuristisch gestaltet.

Danke Mijk, ja, die Superstition Spirale ist offenbar eine Swastika. Ein Symbol ist immer erstmal wertfrei. Und ja, ich finde sie ästhetisch äußerst gelungen, die meisten Menschen vermuten beim ersten Anblick etwas keltisches dahinter. Für mich symbolisiert sie den 4/4-Takt unserer Lieblingsmusik, jeder Spiralarm steht für einen Schlag.
