I don't know why, but I kinda want Kangho to be the one who told her this reason first and not the mother. And Mijoo to tell Kangho first about the twins being his. I feel like it will be more dramatic and satisfying that way

This in inevitable because Kangho lost his memories and all that has transpired before. If he did not get into the accident and lost his memories, and if his plans has proceed then, he would have already cut off ties with his mom and marry the powerful man daughter... And this conversation between Kangho's mom and Mijoo wouldn't even have happened. Bittersweet but an unavoidable story arch, imho.

Hmm with his guilt and grief for leaving them even though it was the best decision he could make at the time, he'll never gain the courage to tell her. It would even be the best if she would never know - that's the best guarantee of safety, to him. He would never. It would've relieve the guilt and burden he has to carry by letting her know, but he probably thought he doesn't have the right for that after hurting them so much. He would've never told them and just apologise for everything. It's probably the most logical thing for his mom to tell the truth.

@@itsp_ris Yes his monologue after their breakup "never let her know how much I loved her, never let her know how much I love her. Let her forget that she should forget me." Sums it up, as much as Kangho is determined to seek revenge with whatever courage or the damn fate he said is set for him for life, hurting Mijoo and his mom is his last thing he wants to do but he have to do for their safety, that's why this conversation between his mom and Mijoo to each other instead of WITH him, actually make sense. It's not that Kangho is a coward for not having these conversations with them but it will just be too much and they would ask him to give up the revenge plan, which he has come too far to give up.

For me, i think it was better that she found out about it from kangho's mother, otherwise it would have been more dramatic. But I really wanted Mijoo to tell kangho first about the twins being his, it would have been a great surprise.

Didn't the mother die?!! I'm still watching this series (I'm on episode 7) but I came across a KZbin short that indicated the mother died from her illness, was it not true??

*spoiler alert* Yes, but she dies after everything is sorted out (in a very "happy" way). Its a happy ending overall.
