I played this song on my acoustic guitar (without vocals) to my grand-mother who was dying of lung cancer in our home at the end of the 90s . She said (poorly translated from french ) c'est joli ce que tu joues : what you play is cute ... she died a few days after ... this song always reminds me of her

Eric Bazillian of the Hooters who wrote the song. Bazillain and Rob Hyman also of the Hooters played most of the instruments and did background vocals. The also did a lot of the work on Joan's debut album "Relish" and cowrote other songs on the album and played on several (at least). This probably put their kids through college.
