What an accomplishment and something very few people have the mindset to achieve! Congrats!

I wonder if the women behind her changed their strategy at all after learning that she withdrew only to find out later she didn’t. Could have definetly effected the podium. Would love to hear from them. Great Race!

I thought she Dnf'd

Ironically, since she left the course at a random road instead of an aid station, she didn't sign the DNF paperwork before leaving. She only told the race management she was DNF, which left open the "RDs discretion" clause all races have. 12/11 hours between aaron/jamil saying she was DNF and her coming back You have to go back to the VODs to see it happen in real time to get the info. Didn't watch the whole race, but casters were pretty against talking about from what I did see. Created a lot of confusion and rumors, unfortunately. Very cool seeing how well she did after coming back.

She thinks she’s a Hollywood celebrity!

Completely disagree! This is so mean (and might I add sexist).

She is extremely humble, what are you even talking about?!

Breaking my like 10 year rule not to argue with a**holes on the internet. I know Mika, and the last thing she would want to be is a Hollywood celebrity. She likes less than zero of whatever publicity she gets, and only reluctantly participates in any of this, because whatever little amount of interviews she does facilitates her being able to pay for her next race (but unfortunately also opens her up to a whole host of online bullshit). What she loves is going to the absolute well and running through it, and she's as good at it as anyone in the world you might name right now. If she were a dude -- especially one filming all of his runs making "motivational" comments while someone followed along filming him -- you would be posting total fanboy shit right now. I don't know you, but your channel is ultrarunner something-or-other, and your comment is transparently jealous and shitty. If you want to really resolve whatever internal psychological deficiency -- we all have them, it's ok -- caused you to post this, go f**king race her and see how you do. Pretty sure you're not fit to wash her race bra, though, bruh.

Projecting your own desires. Best advice to sooth your soul is go beat Mika in a race.
