Mikaela Mariner | Introduction Video | 'Door Number Three'

Hello friends! My name is Mikaela Mariner. I grew up moving a whole lot, primarily in the south. My husband, Zach, and I moved up to Connecticut in 2014 when he got hired at ESPN after college. We had only been married a year when we started settling in to our new life in New England, where we knew no one. We simply trusted God in this new chapter of our lives. It has been one of the most incredible journeys full of both victories and trials. I'd like to share some of these stories with you, as well as what our day to day life looks like working full time and also planning for our (one day) family. I became inspired by so many women all over KZbin who were so driven to take care of their homes and plan ahead to create a life that they desire to live. This is me joining in. These are some of the questions I've been trying to learn how to answer with full transparency. I try not to answer too quickly or mindlessly, because I find that home is a very tricky place to define.
I spent years resistant to good places and good things, not realizing what was right there all along. Often times it takes difficult challenges in life or a great and honest friend to make you aware. Fortunately, I had both.
